Troubleshooting • Re: X11 is not detected when starting vino-server

I have installed vino and configured it using dconf editor. But when trying to start it using

Code:

/usr/lib/vino/vino-server

, i get

X11 is not detected

. I am using Raspberry OS 64bit on the Raspberry pi 5.

Are you sure X11 etc. is in use? By default Raspberry PiOS Bookworm uses wayland etc. To revert back to X11 etc, requires a setting change via raspi-config and a re-boot - did you do that?
