I hope someone can help me with my issue. I'm trying to set up a RP4 (new) with Software Defined Radio. I've watched dozens of their videos and RP videos and I seem to get stuck after I 'write' an image to a USB stick and get it to 'load' or 'write' or whatever you call it. I'm so old I use run DOS on an IBM-PC.
I have an operable Desktop Pi and a 8G USB memory stick that I can write to with a Macbook Air. The Software Defined Radio program is called RSP Connect and it is to be run as a Server using Ubuntu. So i write the Ubuntu Server image onto the USB stick, but when I boot it on the Pi the Desktop comes up and there are two 'drives' in the File Menu, one is Writeable and the other is System Boot and I'm stuck what to do next. The instructions on the web usually say, it will boot up and then you config it, and so on. Well, it doesn't do anything. Is there a command I can run in terminal?
I guess what I'm having a difficult time is getting programs to load and run. The RSP Connect video gets to the point where it says, "go to the download page" download the program and using RP Imager on your USB stick and then run it." He skips over how you do all of that (and they will only help with bugs). Makes one feel like any idiot should be able to do that.
Thanks for helping me figure it out.
