* removed (rmmod) various kernel modules to completely disable devices, like wifi and bluetooth
if you use both dtoverlay=disable-wifi and dtoverlay=disable-bt, then you will get a measurable drop in power usage
no need to remove any modules
* Tried turning off some PCI devices that powertop was reporting as 100% active, until the board froze
a number of the pci drivers dont take unloading well, its better to disable things in DT and make them never load in the first place

if you dont need gpio/ethernet/dsi/csi/fan, then you could disable the entire RP1 and keep it in reset, that might have some savings
