I would perform a web search on IP Geolocation to find an API for mapping IP numbers into countries.I would like to put a honey pot on my raspberry pi.
Specifically, I would like it to generate a world map showing countries where people are logging in. Other stats like times that people are logging in, pp[erating system used, passwords used, etc.
I would also like to log in with my cell phone to see in real time to see the stats about people logging in.
Please post step by step instructions on how to do this.
Since all you want are statistics of where the login attempts come from, I'd suggest not allowing the logins to succeed but just record the IP numbers.
Is this a school project?
