I don't think the packaging is standardized. What does the Pi inside look like?Hi guys,
Got my first pi5 and my packaging was kinda open when i received it. Comparing to all unboxing vids my surface on the opening area is completely red instead of being completely white.(area where the open here lid is glued to)
Do I have a fake pi or a refurbished one rather than an original unused?
It was sold by an official authorised seller as new for the full price.
If the Raspberry Pi inside has weird scratches, is missing parts, has residue of thermal paste or fails to boot I'd return it, otherwise I'd just use it.
Check that all four USB ports work as part of your initial testing and the connectors for the PCIe and camera are undamaged.
