Hi, I am new in Raspberry Pi ( I have done projects with Arduino, esp32 ). Currently for my ML project I want to use the Pi 5. I have searched their official forum, reddit but very less information is available about Pi 5 compared to the previous models. So I need your help.
These are the things I want to know about_

1. I am looking for the 8gb variant. Is it worth it? Or the 4gb will work just fine?(In future heavy projects might be run)

THIS, right here, is the official Raspberry Pi forum. There must have been thousands of posts about the RPi[5] since late 2023.

There is also the official Raspberry Pi News blog. Again, many articles specifically about RPi[5]. https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/introd ... erry-pi-5/

I have never taken any interest in ML, but my assumption is that it is probably one of the most resource-demanding (cpu and memory) application areas in IT today. An RPi[5] gives you the most cpu power on an RPi board at the time of writing. For memory you have a choice: spend the extra 20 usd now and regard yourself as having 'future-proofed' to the best of your ability; or spend 60 usd now, and spend another 80 usd when you discover your model needs the additional ram. [Available hardware and pricing current as of the time of writing. Other products and price points may be available by the time you get your project into a 'production' mode.]
