There is a very simple (two resistor) monitor project at https://stfn.pl/blog/22-pico-battery-level/
You will need to tweak the code depending on the accuracy of the resistors and the Pico ADC - note the Analogue ground should be used rather than a general one (Stefan notes this right at the end in the comments so you may mist).
