Python • Re: Runtime error waiting_for_edge GPIO

The script was working fine with "Buster"
But stopped functioning after a new SD card with "Bookworm" 64bit was used.
The script now generates "runtime error: error waiting_for_edge"

There is a drop-in replacement for the Raspberry Pi pre-installed RPi.GPIO which no longer works under Bookworm which will return normality.
