I suspect it has to do with code pages, something might have happened in the process of copy-paste. I have had such issues in the past, with Windows computers and strange (for me) languages. You should first look at you own stuff/setup, your terminal program, all that stuff. It sounds a bit ridiculous to me that you think there are 'bugs' in networking programs that are worldwide standard in Linux. It is Debian Bookworm, released more than a year ago, and NetworkManager created by RedHat exists for many years. I used it in Bullseye as well and other distros.I 'm not questioning the use of 2 colons, I'm questioning the use 2 types of colon. Did a developer accidentaly enter a UTF16 a789 modified colon instead of a UTF8 ea 9e 89 normal colon?
