Whilst there is module that can be built, I don't see it selected in the standard Pi configs.It seems the kernel has support for HID over I2C already, so I'm running the normal bookworm kernel (installed today).
The compatible string is handled by i2c-hid-of.c, which will require I2C_HID_OF to be enabled, which in turn needs I2C_HID - https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/bl ... id/Kconfig.
Neither of those are enabled in https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/bl ... _defconfig
