Beginners • Re: pi5 boot issue

I'm having issues getting my pi5 to boot into B4 desktop autologin
Desktop Autologin is the default. You shouldn't need to set that manually.

After a fresh RPiOS with desktop install, it should just boot to the desktop with the user logged in.

If that's not happening on your system, then something is different with either your setup or procedure, and we'll need more info to help you.

FYI:
I recently tried the latest Raspberry Pi Imager (v1.8.4) with the 2023-12-05 RPiOS 64-bit with desktop on my Pi 4B test system, and it worked for me. System booted to the desktop with my user logged in (I have RPi-Imager pre-configured with my username, password, WiFi info, etc.).
