You might also consider being just a little suspicious of a web site wanting to know your location. Are you actually happy to share your location with some far off web site? Many won't be.
I too am having the location issue. And still no apparent solution.
I run cybersecurity for a major global bank. We have to know locations for regulatory reasons. We can't permit access from sanctioned countries for many of our systems. I also block access attempts based on location. If you are a little old lady who only access your account from Podunk in the US of A, and then someone, with right credentials, is trying to come in from Durka Durkastan you are going to be blocked.
There are many many valid reasons that browsers need to know your location to operate correctly.
