Obviously, you take it personally.

Actually, I read the whole code of libpisp. I have ported a new sensor, and I have patched libcamera. So, I think that I made the efforts to understand what the different blocks and source code are doing. And the PISP is doing nothing in the simplest scenario.

So please tell me, in the scenario of rpicam-hello, what is the PISP doing in terms of color conversion and scaling? Converting BGGR_16 to BGGR_16 and scaling to 1?
Have you read the tuning guide, that describes the hardware blocks used to get from a bayer image to a fully processed picture. There are about 20 stages iirc.
