General • Re: RP2* engineering modules?

I like open hardware well enough, but open software is a must-have in a development platform. So I guess for now if I need something much smaller than a Pico-W, then I'll stick with ESP32. Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
:)
If it ever becomes part of RPi's plans I'll be there with my proverbial fistful of cash!
What is the problem with the seeed studio device? AFAIK it's works fine with our Pico SDK.
MPY dedicated binaries are available (the latest is V1.15.3) but I have not found any source code yet..

Arduino package is mentioned somewhere on their web site but the json does not mention this particular module now:
https://files.seeedstudio.com/arduino/p ... index.json
So the RP2040 itself is of course supported by the Pico SDK but the WLAN part is a mistery at least for me.
That's why I wanted to reverse engineer the hw but once I discovered that they use SPI instead of UART I decided not to continue.
Having access to the arduino source code would definitely help...
