All new to me. For learning, I am setting up a headless CLI (no desktop) server for 24/7 home weather station with CLI-only for maximum uptime. Without desktop will be less code and proportionally more stable. All on local WiFi (with 192.168... ip) and not exposed to internet.
Will try out RPi OS Lite and Ubuntu CLI server. Can RPI and Ubuntu OS interchange configuration file of some "common" software that run on both OS?
1. The Pi imager software will download only OS versions that are supported by RPi 5 hardware, onto either USB thumb drive or SD card, right?
2. I started reading documents, are ssh (remote CLI shell), scp, sftp and rsync the right command to learn? Any others?
3. Any pointer to good education material?
