Troubleshooting • Re: Pi 5 LED glows solid green and M.2 AI Hat glows solid orange will not boot

Ok so the issue turned out to be the static IP address I set on the eth0 network interface. When trying to install software on the system headless I had to set a static IP address because for some reason the Wireless IP address wouldn't work. In fact it can't seem to detect the 5GHz WiFi SSID at all. When I set the static IP address via /boot/firmware/cmdline.txt then the Pi booted up instantly and when I had my laptop plugged in to the Pi via ethernet cable. But now that I have configured the Pi to use another WiFi AP that is not 5GHz, I want to be able to access the Pi via Wifi rather than ethernet cable.

The issue during boot is that it appears to be waiting for the eth0 to connect to some network and it waits upto a couple of minutes for that and then finally timesout and then connects to wifi and gives me the login screen.

Now I could remove the static IP address from cmdline.txt but I would like to be able to set a static IP address on the eth0 port just in case I am unable to access the Pi through wifi. I'm trying to understand how to set this up via nmcli, but I can't seem to find docs around this. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
