What exact board are you using ?
And with Arduino or just it's init configuration ? (I wouldn't count on that, especially with hardware configs)

With PSRAM (Pseudo-Static RAM) in long bursts (like MB in 684025 us, 12263599 B/s) you have to take care to let it doing internal (hidden) refresh. At first glance I suspect that there are not enough breaks (or time to breathe), and stored data gets corrupted (fade-out).

Something else : I use ther SDK

Whose SDK, Sparkfun or standard Raspberry Pi Pico-series C/C++ SDK ?
