Raspberry Pi OS • Raspberry Pi Imager does not launch

Hello, I try to run Raspberry Pi Imager 185.dmg on Mac and get the error.
Image is not recognized.
In Terminal I tried to run:
MacBook-JK:~ Jacek$ sudo apt install rpi-imager
Password:
The operation couldn’t be completed. Unable to locate a Java Runtime that supports apt.
Please visit http://www.java.com for information on installing Java.

But I installed the latest Java environment:
MacBook-JK:~ Jacek$ java -version
java version "21.0.2" 2024-01-16 LTS
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 21.0.2+13-LTS-58)

Help!
