So, I've been poking around with this Batocera-thing for the Pi 5, and I came up with this script. It basically automates the whole conversion (download, extract, convert, pack etc.). As a proof of concept, there are two projects available for "batocera39beta" + "raspios_arm64_lite" and both have been testet from a USB-drive and everything was a breeze.
After cloning the repository, change directory to "./projects/batocera39beta/", edit the file "x2pinn.txt" and set the "base_url" value to the repository URL, from where all the files (archives and JSON) are to be downloaded. Now run the command "sudo ../../x2pinn.sh" which will take some time to finish, and if all goes well, you should have a PINNified version of Batocera 39 in "./output/batocera39beta/" ready for upload.
Hope you can use it!![Smile :)]()
