I am a newbie in Raspberry Pi, I tried to update my firmware after flashing a new OS onto the SD card with the rpi-update command, somehow everything goes haywire and when I tried to click on the terminal again, it shows an error message. Invalid desktop entry file '/usr/share/raspi-ui-overides/application/ terminal desktop'. I tried rebooting the pi but then it shows a screen that prompts me to download OS onto the SD card. It also says it fails to open SD card.
