It's a computer. It runs the same exposure risks as every other computer. So if I use it without any malicious or bad things on it, its the same risk like any other computer when it runs only in my local privat network?in general, its the same risk as using any other computerHello, can using the Pi exclusively within my private network create a security risk?
if you install/run malicious, then bad things happen
if you dont keep packages up to date and visit a malicious site, bad things happen
Running Linux, the pi does not suffer from as many security risks as Windows or Mac, but it's still in danger of a variety of types of attacks, and some specifically targeted to computers running Linux.
Therefore you should exercise the same precautions needed to use a Windows or Mac computer.
