Troubleshooting • Brand new RPi 4B no longer booting any OS

A brand new Pi 4B of mine was used to run Volumio with a 7" touchscreen connected via HDMI. It booted fine, I went through the installation steps and tried installing their listed plugin for the touchscreen support. It was installing and it took some time, so I went to get a drink and when I came back to the Pi the touchscreen had turned off (no signal) and the Pi could no longer be reached on the IP it was given shortly prior.

I turned off the Pi after waiting a little longer, but when turning it back on it would no longer boot: Power failure, Type B (4 long, 7 short blinks).
I took out the SD card and the Pi booted to the diagnostics screen just fine.
Thinking it might be an EEPROM issue, I tried imaging another microSD card with the recovery image. I tried both the latest one and an older version but in both cases it sees the SD card and its partitions but then reports 'Firmware not found' and then does not do anything else other than to repeat this cycle once every few seconds.

If I try to boot any full OS (I've tried Raspberry Pi OS, moOde and Volumio) from either USB or the microSD, it immediately goes into the 4 long, 7 short blink procedure again.

What could be causing this? It was working fine before I went to get a drink.. Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
:(

I've tried several power sources, too, including a lab power supply set to maintain 5.1V at 5A max, but to no avail.
