So I've been looking into achieving this but I'm not having any luck getting VLC to stream.
In VLC on the Pi I clicked 'Open Network Stream' and then put in this URL: rtsp://admin:PASSCODE@192.168.0.101:554/2 or rtsp://admin:PASSCODE@192.168.0.101:554/h264Preview_01_main
however I get this error:
Connection failed:
VLC could not connect to "192.168.0.101:554".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL
The IP address is the camera IP from the router that both the Pi and the camera are connected to. There is another IP address from the EZVIZ Windows app which is 102.134.196.94 however that gives a similar error.
Is there anything else I need to do? I don't know very much about streaming or networks so fumbling along in the dark here...
Hi there, could finally achieve the desired outcome? I looking for solutions to connect my two ezviz wifi cameras to a pi enabled nvr. Havent made the pi nvr yet.
Was checking for that and bumped into your question.
Please let me know whether you succeded and if yes, then how?
