I haven't, as of yet, used image-backup so this question/confirmation may be getting out a little over my skis. I apologize if it's as such.
So let's say I have a cluster and the slave units boot via network from an image on the master. As the configuration is, not much, but a little pain in the butt to setup I'd like to make backup images of both the master, and independently, the slave images. I understand or believe that your utility will by virtue of doing a back up of the master will also be capturing the slave images. Independently though, for conservative redundancy, can I additionally make backups of the images?
I'm figuring that to do so the process would look something like this:
image-chroot&&image-backup /path to image/file&&[control]D....but I'm afraid that using [controlD] at the terminal will just bump me out of my input. So is there a correct way to back up a nested image?
Thanks

Your first goal should be to get familiar with image-backup by performing a simple backup of your netboot server and a simple backup of a netboot client.

There are a number of ways to implement netboot. The value of a netboot client backup and how it could be restored is dependent on how your netboot server is implemented.
