Beginners • Re: What PCB Design Software

Thank you. I discovered Fritzing a while ago - it's perfect for my use. Almost no learning curve and it has all the major modules ready to drag and drop and connect. KiCad is awesome but it's for pros that can afford the learning curve.

For example, it already has the HC-SR04 model, barrel connector, and I can import the Pico W model from this web site. Visually I just drag and connect the parts and it generates a PCB layout. 10 minutes.
If you already used Fritzing then why ask for recommendations? There's a reason I didn't suggest it, and that's because it's awful. In fact, sketching your PCB artwork in MS Paint would be better.
