Well, Chris Barnatt's data is pretty conclusive, I guess.
On the temperature and life expectancy its the dialectric capacitors that concern me, at their full temperature rating their life expectancy is not very long at all, the lower the temperature the more their life expectancy goes up, at normal room temperatures they last forever to all intents and purposes. They are the weakest link on paper.
