DougieLawson/bensimmo,
My issue is daylight savings time. The clock needs to always be in standard time. So to circumvent this nonsense tradition, I basically just set the pi to a location that doesn't use daylight savings time, and then I just manually set the time to local time.
I guess I am just trying to find the easier route between:
1) updating the program to correct for daylight savings time, or;
2) try to bypass some raspi connect features to all for connect on a non-time-synced pi.
I roughly know the difficulty to complete #1, but I have no idea the difficulty of #2.
Thus I am simply just trying to estimate which one will be more difficult, before I proceed with one or the other.
Appreciate any thoughts only that track!
Thanks again!
