Hey everyone,
I recently installed the latest 64bit bookworm OS with the default LXDE desktop and then installed KDE-full. When I start plasma by selecting Plasma (X11) in SDDM the standard default remote VNC connection to the KDE Plasma desktop works just fine. But when I create a virtual desktop with a different resolution (using vncserver-virtual -geometry 1750x1093 command), it creates a LXDE desktop instead.
I understand I can create a /etc/vnc/xstartup.custom file and have the VNC server properly start a KDE Plasma virtual desktop session. But I don't know how to start a KDE session within that xstartup config file. Am I correct in using a xstartup.custom file to solve my problem. Has any one else started virtual sessions in the current Bookworm Debian. I have an older pi with Bullseye Debian that starts a KDE virtual desktop just fine.
If anyone has a solution to a vnc remote connection to a virtual desktop with a custom resolution I would really appreciate some help.
Thanks
