Hi all!
This is really just a matter of taste, I am sure, but for imaging micro SD cards, I use the newer type of USB 3 module, where the SD card plugs in next to the plug along side the connector pins. The problem this creates is, when I use my Pi 400 to program SDs for other devices, at the end of the process, the SD is unmounted, but the USB 3 programmer is not, so when I unplug to retrieve the SD card it tells me the USB was removed without unmounting. Previously, with other programmers, if I removed and reinserted the SD card, the whole thing was recognized, and I could unmount the package via the icon.
Not sure if this is something that can be remedied, or in fact needs to, because aside from the nastygram, everything seems to work OK.
Thanks in advance,
Jack
